Trampoline With Enclosure For Sale
Any parent will freely admit they are extremely cautious when it comes to buying fun
apparatus for their children, especially trampolines. The excitement of a new trampoline prompts children to invite
their friends over in hoards to get bouncing, and one parent can't be held responsible for the supervision of so
many children. So what is the answer?
How can kids benefit from the exercise and fun of a trampoline, without parents monitoring how high they jump, or
how close to the edge they bounce? The answer is a trampoline with enclosure nets. Quite simply the safest, and
best option for parents who want to encourage their children to exercise, without imposing restrictions on their
fun!
There are literally tons of variant trampoline types currently on the market, however a trampoline with
enclosure nets is generally of the “spring-less” variety. Spring-free trampolines are a relatively recent concept,
favoured by many manufacturers over the coiled spring alternatives, simply because they prove to be far safer,
especially for children.
Spring-less trampolines are produced with a circular or square “elastic band” connected to the frame and the
matt. In most products of this type, there is no longer a physical gap between the trampoline matt and the frame,
instantly cutting down the likelihood of a child getting a limb caught between springs.
Spring-less trampolines tend to come with a netted enclosure as standard. There are several different options
for attachment of the enclosure, which vary dependent upon the brand you choose. Some feature attached poles which
simply require manual net attachment, while others have expandable and collapsible poles with the net already
attached. Many favour the latter type because it is far easier to construct and take-down as and when required.
A trampoline with enclosure nets is the best way to encourage your children to have fun, without worrying about
any accidents occurring. Nets vary by model, ranging from as little as 4ft in height, up to 10ft. Some models come
with expandable poles which can increase net height as your children get older. The important thing is to gauge the
right height depending upon your child's size. The bigger your child, the more he/ she weighs, likely to bounce
higher and with more vigour than younger siblings.
If your trampoline purchase is for a number of children, its worth opting for a higher net, just to be on the
safe side. Also ensure that the manufacturer provides specification regarding the weight the net can hold. Some are
designed for children of a certain age, and won't support a heavier group of teenagers who want to join in the
fun.
The type of trampoline frame you choose can have an impact on the support the actual net provides. A trampoline
with straight leg construction is fine if usage is limited to 2-3 children, however, if you envisage your child
likely to be inviting many others over for some bouncing fun, you might want to consider a trampoline with legs
that are slightly angled outwards. This construction variant is said to provide more support to the overall
structure of a trampoline, able to carry more weight safely without rocking.
Construction of a trampoline enclosure can fill some parents with dread, however most trampolines are relatively
easy to put together. Some enclosure nets are already attached to poles and simply require affixing to the
trampoline base. Others feature nets which hook onto each pole. Products with the net already moulded to the poles
tend to be regarded as far safer, simply because there is less likelihood of any gaps between the pole and the net,
that children may fall through.
Newer designs now feature nets attached to foam sleeves, which simply slip over the poles of your trampoline.
Always remember to attach your net to the support poles prior to sliding them into base. If you have a net
measuring 10-12 feet in height, it would be physically impossible to affix it to the support poles if they are
already in place.
Trampoline enclosure nets are generally made from a synthetic woven material, slightly elasticated. Enclosure
nets undergo rigorous testing during the production process to ensure they have the right tension for the weight
specification. Net enclosures tend to vary by design, featuring a variety of different “entrance” options. A zipped
enclosure is often preferable for parents with toddlers, who are unable to reach the zipper to escape. This type of
entrance mechanism is ideal should you ever have to leave your child unsupervised for a short period of time.
You can be rest assured he/ she will remain contained within the enclosure until you return. For older children
you may want to consider something a little more accessible to them such as a velcro-strapped entrance. Regardless
of the type you choose, its important to remember your child will require easy ascent and descent to and from the
trampoline, so you should have a trampoline ladder, or similar mountable access system to prevent falls.
Trampolines are one of the best formats of apparatus to get kids motivated into performing some form of
exercise, even for just a few hours a week. You probably know all too well that your child is less likely to
undertake something if they think they are constantly being monitored, and a trampoline with enclosure nets is the
ideal way to give your child the fun and freedom of bouncing their way to fitness, without feeling the pressure of
your concern for their safety.
